Originally set up to work with small schools we pride ourselves on being as flexible as possible, with class size and theme of workshop. We are happy to try almost anything...........
Some of the more unusual bespoke workshops we have provided include:-
Indian Immigration Japanese Food - Sushi making! Healthy Eating - Muesli making
Georgian Gourmet Grub & Slaves' Soul Food - exploring the abolition of slavery and William Wilberforce
Greek Gods - what did they eat apart from Ambrosia? The Normans - 1066, Knights & Castles
WW1 - food from the trenches compared to the finest Edwardian afternoon tea
Food as a changing material
We have worked with the Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes, Craven Museum in Skipton, Tullie House Museum and Gallery in Carlisle providing 'tastes of the past', History Detective workshops and War Game sessions
Just let us know if you have a special topic you would like us to cover!
