Working together at this amazing site we are able to deliver a variety of exciting, hands on educational programmes.
We offered a bespoke service of full or half day educational programmes, and short costumed tours all which focused on Lowther Castle's history during its Medieval, Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian, WW1 and WW2 periods.
Our education sessions were organised and delivered by Anja Phoenix of Tale Trails, Joseph Jackson of Cumbria Heritage and Jane from Curriculum kitchen.
Anja specialises in outdoor education, storytelling, environmental studies and Tale Trails walks. She is a mountain leader and qualified teacher.
Joseph specialises in historical education, archaeology, costumed talks and walking tours. His Roman character Gambax is well known throughout primary schools.
Curriculum Kitchen's Jane Sammells delivered the historical food tasting sessions with the attention to detail of all of Curriculum Kitchen's workshops ensuring a fun and informative hands on taste of the past.
Anja and Joe are also first aid qualified and CRB checked.
